Fly-In: Trainers

On Saturday 11 July, Aviodrome will be all about training and teaching aircraft during Fly-in Trainers. Admire special aircraft flying to Aviodrome especially for this day and discover how generations of pilots started their flight training.

Fly-In with unique aircraft

During Fly-in Trainers, several special training aircraft will visit Aviodrome. The aircraft arrive in the second half of the morning and depart again later in the afternoon.

During the day, you can see among others:

• Arrival of participating aircraft

• Taxiing down the taxiway

• Take-offs and landings from the viewpoint

• Opportunity to see special trainers up close

• Meet pilots and owners

Live demonstrations

Some impressive demonstrations will take place this day, including:

• A demonstration with the Grumman S-2 Tracker, which involves folding the wings and starting the engine.

• Turning the Wright R-3350 radial engine.

Demonstrations will give a glimpse into the technology of the past.
