Every year, Lifeboat Day offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at sea rescue work. Volunteers show how they stand ready to save lives 24/7. How does a rescue operation take place? What materials are used? And what does a survival suit feel like? During this event, all these questions will be answered.

🌊 Unique: Donors - or visitors who sign up on the day itself - have a chance to win a trip on the lifeboat. An experience that will be remembered for a long time (subject to weather and safety).
💙 KNRM runs entirely on donations and receives no government subsidy. Thanks to the support of Rescuers ashore, help can be provided free of charge to people and animals in need.
