All the ingredients he uses, everything he tastes and every market he visits: he stores it all in his head. At De Brass, this comes together in brasserie dishes without fuss. They serve beautiful, but above all delicious dishes. Funky combinations and solid classics. Dishes that the owners themselves like to eat. Steak or perch, spinach, green bean or chard, De Brass has it. Inspired by the seasons, from all corners of the world and prepared in Lelystad. Simply, delicious food.
Years ago, De Brass opened its doors in one of Lelystad's most famous harbours under the name 'Brasserie de Houtrib'. Soon, the brasserie has become a household name in Flevoland and Brasserie de Houtrib is affectionately shortened to 'the Brass' by regular guests.
